I think I carry in about as much stuff as any comfort loving person would want. The thought of an extra sleeping bag has never crossed my mind. Lets take last year for example. It rained hard every day. If the inside of the tent is getting wet, then you would have another night of sleeping in a getting wet sleeping bag. Nothing ever dried out on that trip, unless you were wearing it. So how much does a wet sleeping bag weigh? Too much, but I sure don't want to take the chance on carrying two of them home. Bring something else instead. Like a 20X30 foot tarp to put over your entire campsite to keep it dry.
