We are hoping to be on the tow boats by 9:00, don't know how long it is to the drop of point. We should be able to make all our portages in one trip and we don't plan on fishing on the way in, just paddling. I don't know how it compares but last year we put in at Lake One and made it into the northern part of Insula in about 8hrs. Sounds like a really nice area, I just hope we don't get all the way in there and find the camp site taken. Thanks for all the info, and there is NO doubt that I will have fun!
