Does anyone have experience with paddling on Lac La Croix in early July, leaving from Twin Falls and paddling out through Boulder bay ending at Moose River? I know the Moose River route, so not needing help here. What I'm interested in: 1) Is/was wind a factor? how much? How long did it take? I know about & have used tow service & will use Anderson to get in. 2) We are also considering paddling out thru Minn to McAree using Blackrobe Portage. Which way would you go? Why? Also we will have two boys, 11-12age, riding "center paddle" in 2 canoes
