The Old Man in the BWCA

I remember it was either on the Otter Track or Knife Lake that I visited the foundation of a home where a man lived in the BW before and after they turned it into a wilderness area. And I think he died in 1982, but I just can't remember exactly where it was. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please let me know, I'm bringing my parents up to the BW this summer and would like to show them. Thanks :)
