If you go into Sananaga, you can walk the kayak into red rock lake. There are a few nice campsites there. Then the portage into Alpine lake is only 45 rods. Alpine is a pretty lake filled with campsites, including some really nice island sites. It is then possible to go through 3 sets of rapids into Seagull lake back to your starting point. We lined our canoe through one set and rode the other two. Of course if you have any doubt about them there is a portage around them. This is a nice little loop.
