If you were to go north to the Man Chain Lakes. They are full of smallmouth. There are many nice campsites there too.
If you are looking for some seclusion which isn't that far from Carp try Fisher Lake to the east. Beautiful Lake with campsites on both ends. I was thru there during the fire in 95. We saw lots of people on Knife and Ottertrack. We moved off the main lakes and found solitude. If you need more info. I'm at queticoii@hotmail.com
