I took the Vermillion once in mid July when the Mayfly hatch was on and didn't catch a fish. The falls were awesome though. We only caught a few bass below Table Rock Falls. As they say timing is everything. I think we are going to do the Flambeau River in Wisconsin. It has some nice rapids and good fishing.
