Also, don't know about too many sand beaches on Kasa Lake, we were there in high water both of my times through. I did have a northern on in that lake that I never could have got into the canoe. Float stick marks on the paddle put her at approx. 47" and my guess of pushing 35#. Took 45 minutes with 8# test to get her next to the canoe & then all I could do was pull the hook & let her lay there until she got her strength back. My daughter was a little wary swimming after that.
