Just got back from Praire portage, crooked, friday bay, and Mudro. Army worms are horrendous on US point, fishing fair, narrows above Thursday Bay, excellent for walleye and bass. Caught over 100 eyes, and 40 bass in 3 days, using 1# leeches on slip bobbers in 13-15 water at narrows. Most 2-4# eyes, largest 6#, SM 2-5#. This includes using a 2# walleye to catch a 16-18# northern 38" long. Few mosquitos, more ticks and endless supply of flies, but they are not the biters. Great weather and going to go take a nap now. Keep the round side down.
