I have never sighted one but have heard several on different trips. On one particular trip my father and were not even in the BW but in Bear Head Lake State Park, we listened to a pack howling every few minutes, it often sounded like they were coming nearer, around the lake (unfortunatly our neighbors had brought a TV and had it too loud - what idiots). Found out the next day that the wolves had hunted and killed a deer.

On one occasion I called back to a couple of wolves and immediatly got a response - very cool (not imposters - we were the only ones on the lake).
