I just returned from The Brightsand River and Wabakimi. There were lots of flies, but they were harmless compared to the zillions of black flies, stable flies, deer flies and horse flies. The mosquito hatch was proceeding quite nicely too. The big flies will be thinning out as the caterpillars cocoon. They would be the least of my worries.
