Again, that's really going to depend on weather. If you are there prespawn (typically early June pending weather) it can be tough. During the spawn they practically jump in the boat. Post spawn can again be a challenge but fish are in the usual places and on thier typical structure. We always time our trip to 8 weeks after ice out.
