303 Protectant - You've probably used it. Sort of like Armorall for yaks (and canoes) Said to be a good UV inhibitor. Water repellent and slippery. Not greeezy, no silicone. I've used it on my seal-line pack inside and out. (the inside helps things slide so I can sit on it to squeeze out excess air and pack that last luxury. (All my stuff would never fit in a yak) I'm still a waxer when it comes to the canoe. It may not make it go faster but 2 coats are good exercise and keep my thighs dry an extra day or two at portages - a welcome advantage for cold trips. But hey, you'd be the expert on that :-) Posted by db on July 31, 2002 at 13:03 |
