Man, sounds bad. I pulled my group out on Aug 14 and I was scheduled for a 5 day solo from the 15th til the 20th but had a nasty fall (on dry land no doubt) that caused me to cancel the solo trip and limp back home. Well, I guess that fall was not a nasty as I thought initially. Glad you made it out ok. That's twice I've missed a bad storm, the first being my first trip to BWCA the summer of 1999. We initially planned the week of July fourth but then had to put it off until 2nd week of Aug because of school..wheew
