Muskrat2 added this item on July 01, 2005 1 to 2 drops of household bleach per liter (quart) of water will make any water safe to drink. Carry in an eye drop bottle and leave the water filter home when going light. If you leave the lid off your water container for 1/2 an hour the bleach will evaporate off top = better taste.
