Portage Description:
Portage was easy and easy to find.

Lake after portage: Fairy
Known campsites: 2
Lake Description:

Fairy lake was very pretty and had a lot of good structure for pike. Strong cold front really hurt the fishing but we still managed to catch some nice fish. The best fishing was along the west bank and in the slough that drains Fairy into Boot. Caught a very nice pike near the beaver lodge. The pike were hiding under the undercut grass banks and hitting a purple worm (w/o a weight). You had to cast it right on their nose to get a hit. Also caught some walleye by trolling.
