Portage Description:
The portage is short and easy. You can bypass it and paddle up the creek between the two lakes. The current is strong and you'll need to get out and walk your canoe upstream, but it is a fun and easy ride going downstream.

Lake Description:
Jean is a big water lake that is susceptible to big winds. When the wind isn't howling there are Lakers, walleyes, northerns and smallmouth in abundance.
