Portage Description:
This portage is somewhat difficult to find because it is not used much and consists of rocks among rocks. It is so steep that you can't carry a 17 ft canoe level, the bow will keep hitting the ground in front of you. Unfortunately the next portage into Kett goes down just as steeply and in addition, has a rock garden near the end that Gene Kelly couldn't dance through.
