Portage Description:
There are two portage paths on the central island of Rebecca Falls. That on the west side has some boulder step ups that are difficult with a heavy load, at points where a slip could be fatal. Path up east side is safer, but traverses some side-sloping areas where footing is marginal. Maps show a 50-rod portage east of the falls; maybe safer.
