One side of the main pack holds the stove and all the cooking items wrapped in plastic to keep the soot on the pots. The other side gets the food, divided and repackaged to occupy as little space as possible, and to make meal preparation as simple as possible. The lid has foam weather stripping installed as an aroma and moisture precaution, and I've never worried about anything getting wet - ever. Although I'm careful to dry things that need to go back in as best I can.
