Remember, I told you I hadn't decided on a name yet for that book. I am torn between "Adventures in Lost Land" and "Adventures in Rock Land". Perhaps we should put it up for a vote.
Ahh, but this is just another book, that rests next to all of yours and your reports on DB's and our Bookcase Shelves.
I suggest, the QJ ( the collection ) are some of the best books I have read from lately. However, I have yet to read QP's CCBB Trip Report. That CD/Book is temporarily lost as I am in the middle of a remodel.
As QV would say,
Cheers!
Sir Lostalot
PS K? How did QP get wind of this? I asked you to keep it quiet. Lost lips sink canoes.

I have a new favorite-Qpassages compilation of Trip Reports from friends of his from this board and other boards for trips taken in 2003. This book has reports of trips taken all over the BWCAW and Quetico. Quite fun.

Just this week I received a boxed set of “A Canoe Voyage Up the Minnay Sotor” by George W. Feathersonhaugh in the mail. My 1970 reprint of his 1847 book came in great shape. Clearly the former owner of it did not have enough reading time. I have only read parts of the book so my recommendation is only skin deep but his account of going through the Wisconsin Dells to Fort Snelling is captivating. I can’t wait to read the whole thing.

Canoeing with the Cree has to be a classic and a must read book for canoe people. Recently I found 3 books by Ian and Sally Wilson "transporting" . They are "Wilderness Journey", Arctic Adventures", and "Wilderness Seasons. I can't wait until they write their next true adventure book.

Daggett Bill: I've read Dangerous River a couple of times and will probely do so again next winter. There is also a follow up book where R.M.P establishes a homested . I can't recall the name of that book . My father made a trip up that way, and if I recall right he met RMPs son or grandson that lives somewhere around Tweedsmeir (?) park. Sounds like it would be a place to visit.
