Mo, Sounds like you have a great resource. Taking the canoe down a troutstream in the winter time - that sounds like fun. Just don't tell me that you have super BWO fishing or I might pack and head down now!!! TB

Wouldn't think about paddling on weekends during the Summer because of the throngs of drunk and rowdy weekenders. thankfully they don't know the rivers still flow during the Winter. Several rivers have rainbow and brown trout and others have smallmouth bass.
