I posted this under Current Conditions and Trip Reports but I have changed my screen name from Rookie to Paul since this thread was started. (Ain't 10 trips enough to get me out of "rookie" status?)

Rookie=Paul; Bryan=Beemer; Andrew=Beavers; Ken=Butthead

Sorry for any confusion.  I posted the start of my version of the trip report before I knew Rookie was working on a full length report also.  I figured he should get to tell the story since the trip was his idea in the first place.  I'm sure it will be a much better read as I'm not much of an author.  Wink

You can check out some photo's from the trip in the (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) while waiting for the full report.
There should be more photo's added as all the guys get their pic's together and we can post them.

Rookie,

I'm a junkie for trip reports. Smiley  I like the idea of this type of trip and am looking forward to reading. Thanks for clarifying, btw, confusion is a long time aquaintence of mine.

Yellowbird:  Beavers deleted the report he had posted because I'm working on a combined trip report....which should be interesting to try to thread together; none of us stayed on the same campsite together for any of the nights....two entered a day before the other two...one left the group 2 days early...and Beavers left the group a day early. Are you confused yet? Wait until you read the report.

Didn't one of you guys post a report of this trip a week or two back. I later went back to look for it, but it apparently had been deleted (moved?). I see there is now a similar looking report posted on QP's site, submitted by Beavers. Is this the same one? If yes, may I ask why it was taken off Quiet Journey? Maybe I'm just plain missing something here.

My concern is IF some offense is the cause for any member to pull a trip report, I'd like to know about it. I believe I can speak on behalf of other forum members as well.

Thanks rookie!
The fun and challenge of another solo trip, yet the ability to share the the experience during trip, priceless!
Great trip, shared experience, knowledge gained, new friends
made.

Rookie's group-solo was a great success. (And Rookie actually showed up  Grin ) We all had a good time, explored lakes and learned a thing or two from each other. A trip report wil be filed eventually.
