I was in Ely until just yesterday.  I got to sing a song or two at the Kareoke (sp?) night being put on by the Steakhouse.  I was in the Ely area for the past month or so, but really had little time until the last three nights for meeting fellow BB members.

Eh, Lynn, none of us are sure about Stumpy... he has his favorite campsites.

Not sure if he lives in the Ely neck, but heard he was spotted at the Portage (Bar) by a friend.

Nope...not me... I met him sobber... I've had enough of the oddity.  (kidding)

Stumps ok.

Kawishiway, Stumpy and AB are all up here right now.

Jim Devries (sorry Jim, can't remember your board name) is here at Silver Rapids and is doing a couple nights in the BW next week.

AB is going over to Crab tomorrow morning to try his luck.

Kawishiway, I'm not sure and Stumpy lives up here so....

Big bear problems on Ensign, at the campsites on the south shore, not far from the portages into Boot Lake. The big bear was spotted bothering a number of campsites, going in time after time, getting food packs and making people move. Just FYI.

The next few nights up here look like we are going to have thunderstorms, will probably make the Ely fireworks low and under the clouds on the 4th.

Have a great Fourth of July everyone!
