That's correct.  It was a group of three, who had met while working at Northern Tier.  I knew all of them, and they would be a fun bunch to take on any trip.  They went from the Grand Portage.

Hudsonbayboys had a neat trip too.  Their website skills left some to be desired, but was a fun read.  I think this group was a "threesome" correct?  A tandem and solo boat making the whole trip....from the Grand Portage I believe.

The two young men paddling from Twin Cites area to Hudson's bay obtained success on 8/20/05.  A fantastic story is to be read in their journal entries.

Astounding feat of endurance and will power.

I can't wait to meet them at some canoe seminar somewhere.
