Intrepid_canper and Beemer I plan to join Jimbo or old_salt on there trip. Thank You very much for the invitation.  I don’t know which entry permit I will be going in on.  I have seen posts that suggest that all of the canoes in jimbo’s party must paddle in formation so he may eject me from his group.
IC you are partly responsible for the canoe that I am paddling now.  I have a Bell RobRoy. I see why you like your little Poke Boat. Hope to see you on Brent.

I've an entry permit for Moose Lake on July 8 and my tandem partner has bailed - I have a solo and a tandem so whatever.  The route is still to be decided.

Magicpaddler,  It is hard to compete with the excitement Jimbo and group are planning to conjure up while in the Q; however, I am going in on the 28th of June, via Basswood River, up to Brent to visit other bird carrying members of the Pink Flamingo Club for at least a few days.  You are welcome to join me if you wish.  I plan to exit via Nina Moose River on or near the 10th of July.  I too prefer to solo paddle and will be in my trusty little Poke Boat for the journey.  IC   Cool

Once a Flamingo Gang member, always a Flamingo Gang member.  Pink birds of a feather should flock together.

Find your spot in our V-Formation, MP.   We start our hunt for the remnants of Japanese radio installations, legendary hermits, & such in about 12 days....

Jimbo   Cool

P.S.  Maybe we should be in "Q-Formation"?

I had a trip planned that would start June 22 but my trip partner has backed out. Embarrassed It was a rather remote entry so I do not want to do it solo.  I may do a 10 day solo around the North East corner of Quetico.  I would prefer going in my own solo canoe but would consider a tandem if someone wanted to join me.  I can go most any time starting now but must be home by August 11. If interested IM me and let me know your abilities and experience and maybe we can plan some thing that will work for both of us.
