I would be interested in a paddle some time early December. This coast or that coast.

Alright it's cooled off and the humidity is low enough so if this still interests anyone let's do it!  Smiley

I have a winter home on Sanibel just south of your place.  Would strongly endorse exploring the island, refuges & waterways.  Due to children in school, we will not be down until the Christmas holidays.  Hopefully something would work in that time period.  Given the proper water/current conditions, backwater fishing from a canoe or kayak can also be excellent.

Will be at our winter place on west coast of Florida, just north of Ft. Myers and Pt. Charlotte, just south of Sarasota, Venice and Englewood around the 15th of October.  This is an invitation to anyone interested to visit and try out the canoeing and kayaking on the inter-coastal waterway.  We have two kayaks, access to at least one canoe, and my son happens to work at the local kayak rental place nearby.  The weather should be good, the water beautiful clear blue, and lots of bays, water trails, and even campsites to explore.  IM me if you might like to check it out.   Cool
