Yes, Oliver was disgusted and relieved at that moment. Disgusted with me most likely as I lead him into the muck and sunk myself first. He then merely followed and sunk too. Relieved of course to be on a solid platform again though he did enjoy a romp through the mud as stated. He had quite the personality. I think Oliver was right pawed.
I do have some pictures taken of Gustav now but none in a canoe or a kayak yet. I do have one that might be appropriate for posting a puppy shot. I'll get a shot posted for you soon. I think Gustav is right pawed as well.

No pics of Gustav yet. Soon enough. He's got some mighty big shoes to fill. Here is a shot of Oliver, Olivia, a couple days after you met him on Birch. Here he is proud on Swamp lake.

K, I was sorry to hear about Oliver but glad to know of Puppy Gus and that you are initiating your church and friends into the world of canoeing sports. Do you have a photo of Gustav on maiden voyage? IC

I'm proud of him! Puppy Gus did well. So...most of you know of me as a rebel..and yep... I am, but I'm also a leader of my church. Never would have guessed huh? Take that HR! HA!
After two years of suggestion I was able to put together our first annual church singles group canoe trip this late spring. 8 showed. Two floated with me in my canoe. My Pastor was at the Bow, I thought I was at the Stern...as it turned..it was Puppy Gus, ever so silent, in the stern, behind me, sleeping, patient, quiet, motionless, perfect.
