This was in Michigan, Sylvania Wilderness Area. This eagle would wait in the same tree for a discarded fish. I discovered this one morning while fishing. It landed in a tree and watched me until I caught a Rock Bass, killed it and through it out just 10 feet from the canoe. I didn't have my camera then, but when I return to the same spot that evening, there it was again waiting for a meal.
