We put in right below the dam at the boat launch. Paddled 4 or 5 miles tops. There is a really nice campsite below the dam and cheap to in my opinion. If you call to reserve a site try to get #19 I thought it was the best site. 1 thru 41 are the shaded sites our site was very hot in the sun. We are planning to go again in Sept.
