We put in right below the dam at the boat launch. Paddled 4 or 5 miles tops. There is a really nice campsite below the dam and cheap to in my opinion. If you call to reserve a site try to get #19 I thought it was the best site. 1 thru 41 are the shaded sites our site was very hot in the sun. We are planning to go again in Sept. Took a little fishing trip this last weekend. Fantastic fishing caught walleyes and rainbow trout. We ate fish till we couldn't eat any more. Wolf Creek is just below the dam of Cumberland Lake in Kentucky. Here are a few shots I thought I would share.
