I just picked up Robert Hildebrand's edited version of Land's Forlorn by George Douglas. It's a hard back just out in 2008. Lot's of great original photographs that Douglas took; the number and quality probably wouldn't make it to a paperback version. This is my next read. It ties together an interesting trio of books.

Bloody Falls of the Coppermine Madness and Murder in the arctic Barren Lands, by McKay Jenkins

Cold Burial, by Clive Powell - Williams

Many of the central characters in each book shared nearby winter quarters around Great Bear Lake with the Douglas party during the winter of 1911-12.
