Has anyone ever paddle one? 4" rocker on a 16 ft solo? seems like alot. Maybe not if it tracks well. I sure would like to try a new boat.

I know there was a little stink in the woods when Red Rock got the exclusive.  But that's business.  Interesting stuff.

It appears my previous post needs clarification.  Red Rocks is Souris River's US distributor, i.e. middleman to get canoes across border & on to dealers.  They happen to be a dealer too.

Walkabout Sports in Eagle River WI is correct, I go there over Christmas each year, when we go up to Monaqua WI. Very expensive shop ,appeals to the Chicago crowd. KC Paddler is a large MO shop, good prices on the www site. PLus of course RedRock, cant say I have  been to San Juan Utah. So I can confirm 3 of the 4.

Well, you guys should call up Souris and tell them they have it wrong on thier website - when I clicked on dealers, US, there were four.

For what it's worth, I believe Red Rock is still the only U.S. Distributor.

It was interesting, considering the economic times.

Looked at thier website for the first time in a long time, and see that they now have 4 US dealers, rather than just the one Red Rocks store - that alone ought to bolster thier sales.

Local dealer here says he is ahead of last years numbers for boats sold, which was also surprising.  He mentioned Wenonah going to a four day workweek due to lagging demand.
