Have run one for 4-5 years in a pole saw format, will cut through 2.5"-3" branch in 4-6 pulls. Good product....felco saws: the tempering is just a bit shy so the blades bend and ARS just a bit brittle so the tip breaks. All are impulse hardened....damn durable. The Silky is spot on. Have not run corona yet.

Be aware they are very very sharp and stay sharp. Have used both folders and sheath styles...the latter is nice....IMHO

I've used many different kinds of saws in the BWCA/QP over the years. I recently was introduced to the "Silky," and will never use anything else. It's light, compact, and incredibly sharp. I think these saws are intended for arborists to trim trees, but they are great in canoe country! (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) prouboy
