Yeah...as I said in my post, was actually looking for a place a little closer to Minnesota than Alaska...but appreciate your help. No problems here. Mushing forth with the 8 x 10 canvas tent w/stove and a conventional 3 man. Hell, we'll be so busy pulling fish through the ice we won't get cold anyway. Sounds like you're asking for a TARP bailout. Aren't we all? Soldotna Hardware in Soldotna, AK has them. They are located on the main drag on the Kenai peninsula. They do a great mail order business. (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) .

Long story short....we were able to only secure a small wall tent from Piragis--too small for our 5 man crew. We found another guy in Two Harbors, but he has none available.
We can make the small one work, but would prefer a larger wall tent where all 5 can bunk under one roof.

If any of you know of a place that rents larger wall tents and stoves, please PM me.
Our Wisconsin crew is coming up through Ely....so anywhere along the North Shore is convenient.
