Ahh man... Ya go all that way and still have to wear clothes?
I kind of figured Doug there likely wasn't camping allowed in those spots especially on islands where the Caribou might be calving. Thanks for the clearification from you and old salt. Ü Look forward to possibly meeting you up there Doug in July.

For paddlers or hikers, camping is not permitted. Since we are close to getting ourcmapsite system under wraps our future campsite map will show campsites in all areas but nature reserve zones. It is our intent to subtly keep people away from these sensitive areas. Now saying that should you need to put up an emergency shelter in one for your safety - common sense will prevail.

Folks, I have been asked to provide a link to our background information document published in 2004. It was required for us to start planning. Go to near the bottom of this page to the "background information". You will see that there are also 2 pdf's that contain 16 maps of the park.
