I use the pipe insulation with a bit of duct tape to secure in place.
You can use the insulation as a lure hanger if your prone to changing lures back and forth depending on depth etc.

The noodles are an idea that I'll try next time, they look a little more durable.
The local dollar store has them in all colors, for you guessed it-$1

Or, if you want something more colorful, try kid's noodles... They even come in pink to match Jimbo's favorite northwoods bird.

Being 6' 3" is causing me a problem when paddling.  My knees end up resting against the sharp inner edge of the gunwale. This is no good.  I end up with sore knees.  Is there anything anyone could recommend to place on the edges to reduce the discomfort?
Thanks in advance for your help.....
