Some folks have asked us for information on where to get a quick shower after coming out of the park. Its OK to smell in a canoe but in a vehicle for the return home ... well, things can get a little close!

We have checked around and there are two easy spots to clean up. One is right in Red Lake at the community centre (about a block from the ESSO station). You would buy a day pass there for about $4 and shower to your hearts content. Or about halfway to Ear Falls you would go by Pakwash Park. There you can pull into the park and buy a day vehicle pass (approx $9) and everyone in the vehicle can get cleaned up in the shower house/ comfort station.
