No, but you can smell them 3 lakes away.

I'm pretty sure Jimbo and group are on thier trip in WCPP. It would have been fun to track thier progress via SPOT like Denton Doc and the Bushwack bunch... Is anyone tracking them?

Wayne is located between Telescope & Onnie lakes now, possibly positioning himself to be coming out in the next day or so: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Jimbo    Cool

That campsite is actually on Hjlarmar Lake ... the last official campsite still INSIDE WCPP.  Technically Onnie is not inside the park and although loaded with campsites, they are only available to Canadians.  In any case, the campsite had not been used in several seasons, so I had to do a little brush out to make it "livable" for the one night.  There is also a picto site not far from the campsite ... another reason I pushed on to this location instead of stopping on the extreme western edge of Telescope.

From here, I departed at 7:30 and make the Onnie parking lot by 11:15 ... wasn't looking to set any records, and mostly just plodded along.  However, the WCPP staff should be commended to the boardwalk section that runs maybe 100 yards from the parking lot toward the put-in lake (a no-namer before Onnie).  It is truly a work of art!

More details on the adventure when I return home (still 2 days drive from here ... Kenora for tonight).

Wayne has moved east to Telescope Lake.  See: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

I understand this lake sees a fair amount of fly-in traffic & some motors in the spring.  I hear it is a pretty good walleye lake.

Thanks for the updates. It gets my blood pumping Tongue as I am heading to Glenn Lake this summer. My goal is to find a good canoe route north and through Domain Lake and connecting with the present route into Indian House.
