Just got back from a two night three day canoe trip on the Alapaha River in South Georgia.  It is my home river and favorite river.  Great fishing and camping on sandbars.  Last month we canoed and spent the night on a platform in the Okefenokee Swamp.  Always a good trip. The swamp is too low to canoe across so you have to paddle to a platform, spend the night and return the same way.  The Suwanee is a great river to canoe.   If any one wants to canoe in the south, let me know if you want to canoe the Alapaha River, Suwanee River or Okefenokee Swamp.  I can give information and advise on these areas.  We head North on May the 24th and wll be in the Atikokan area for the summer.  If you see a white chev. PU with camper top and GA plates it will be me.
