Dont forget to stop at a gas station or somewhere that sells Manitoba Provincial park Permits, you need one. $30 I would send you mine, not sure you would get it in time? Paul

Yes, I tried to schedule a mid-week put-in and return to avoid the weekend yahoos from Winnipeg ... based on info in your earlier posts on this board.

Hopefully there will be ample water in Garner River to make for a pleasant paddle to Haggart. Keep an eye out for motor craft in the meandering stream between Beresford and Garner! The ones I ran into seemed to think it was a slalom course. Luckily most saw me in time to motor down so I didn't get swamped.

Heading to Manitoba on July 21 (Saturday) going in on Sunday the 22nd for 7 day solo. Going in at Beresford Lake, and into Garner, going in SW Corner of Park, Up to Haggert, then East and South. 65 mile loop. Can't wait! SunCatcher

Both Irvine and Joey were good on walleyes for us this year. Good luck Martin... Gonna have to check out that Echo Lake now I guess one of these years. Good luck finding a "better" route. BTW: Met Howard Holtman on Irvine, he says to say hi.
