Santa just called about you. I said nice fwiw. Beyond that is up to him.
Well db seems you don't have much pull Thanks anyway
I didn't get the stove for Christmas, but after the 1st Paragis had a 20% off sale so I couldn't resist. Got it yesterday. Quality looks good. Not much to it, but I was looking for something simple, so I guess that's good! Went together nice, seems dutch oven (not that I pack one) sturdy. I will probably order the two piece ash pan soon. Winter is in full force here so I won't be testing it for a while, but when I do I will post my impressions. Thanks for everyone's input!

I've been reading this interesting thread and looking at these grills -- thinking I could put my Coleman Peak stove underneath them. That way I could enjoy the stability and space of the grill surface, and not worry about stuff falling off the Peak's little burner.
Only problem, my Peak stove sits 6.5 inches tall, and I don't think the height of these grills is tall enough for my stove to fit underneath.
prouboy
That's why God gave us flat rocks and trowels to dig holes

Thanks, I need all the help I can get! :dankk2
On the off chance Santa doesn't come through I think I'll probably order one the 1st of the year. Hey, maybe I should order the folding ash pan now (Paragis doesn't carry them so it's not on the list) & then if Santa goes a different direction I will HAVE to buy the stove anyway!
Hogan brought one to the 2012 Woodland Caribou Gathering. We used it for boiling water and for staying warm under a tarp. It was well made and retained its shape after some hot fires.

Well I circled it as part of my Christmas list in the Piragis catalog so we shall see if I get one. If so I will maybe go to the manafacture & get the 2 piece base for it. Still comes in under a pound & the two piece base is the same dimension as the dissassembled unit so the package is no larger. If I get one I will try & do a review.

How many times have you had to re-work a firepit because some Newbie thought that a little breeze was bad for a fire and put so many rocks around the perimeter you were basically building a fire in a hole in the ground
