The first 8000 meter to be climbed, Annapurna is still considered a formidable and very dangerous mountain.

I have read the book at least twice and will probably read it a few more times. It was one of the books that hooked me on armchair mountaineering Wink

. Even if you have no interest in climbing this is a very good read...........
