i switch between that stuff and the kiwi brand spray. whatever is on sale at the time. they work about equal from my experience. i pick up 3 cans a few weeks before my trip when i pull everything out and check it over. the tent rainfly gets a full can, the tent bathtub gets a can (heavy on the corners/seams) and then another can goes on my pack/pants/shirt/shoes/anything i have laying around.

gotta let that stuff air out for a bit(after its completely dry) before you pack it away, i usually leave my stuff on a clothes line or in the garage for 3-4 days. then pack up the tent with a few dryer sheets so its smells fresh!

I see 2 items listed.
One with an Orange cap and the other a Blue.
I have the Orange cap and it's a great product.
I spray all my outdoor packs/nylon/leather footwear and while it's not guaranteed waterproof, water does bead up nicely and it helps keep dirt off similar to ScotchGuard.

IF the Blue EXTREME is even better, then for the
Extra $1, it would be well worth it.

Anyone use this stuff?:    (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links);   (from the folks that make sno-seal)
i wouldn't count on it to be completely waterproof, but to have water adhere less to some items like packs, tackle bag, camp chair, etc. would be ok.
