Perhaps it's not exactly a "Bookshelf" item, but certainly related.  I just had to mention that my first book (set in the BWCA), Fugitives from Northwoods, has been made made into an audiobook. It was a truly amazing process, listening and approving it in little 10 minutes pieces, chapter by chapter.

A few people have asked why I didn't narrate it myself. As soon as I heard the first minute of the narration, that gave me the reason why. These voice pros are true actors. My guy, Eddie Frierson, is the national voice of the PETCO petstore chain. And he's done a ton of voiceover work in Hollywood, and dozens of other audiobooks. I'm amazed with his abilities, and my good fortune in hooking up with him.

It's an 8 hour narration, so perfect for long drives or daily commutes to work. Or just around the house, maybe out in the workshop.

It's available on Amazon, iTunes, and Audible. Here's the link to Audible:

There's a 5 minute sample available for listening. Thanks!
