There's a Facebook group called BWCA Trip Partners (I'm the owner).  Check it out - there isn't much traffic but who knows, you might find a good partner.

Considering September BWCA paddling plans, given the border is likely to stay closed (or I'd go to Wabakimi!). Would consider a bow partner or a joining a small compatible group. (I can also solo my old Bell Northwind)  One Minn. friend is interested in Thomas/Fraser lakes. I have a permit for August 31st LIS North, with a goal of getting to Fat Lake--tho that could be a busy time on that route. Still researching other routes that may be less crowded. I'm down for a reasonable amount of fishing, portaging, and good company (cepting any that support toxic mines near the BWCA). Being 67 and not 25, would probably like to travel every other day & fish/explore/rest in between; but I'm flexible. Have gear, but I'm trying to travel light.

I'll be coming from Montana after 8 days on the Upper Missouri with my wife--(who then takes the train back to Portland).

Haven't seem much discussion of Sept. on the forums. Do know the BWCA is getting a lot of pressure. This is a trying time with the virus so outa control and national leadership making it so much worse that it had to be.
