Title: Willow Flowage
Post by Carl_Rogers on Feb 25th, 2003 at 10:37pm
I've heard that the Willow Flowage in Northern Wisconsin is a nice place to canoe and camp. I haven't been there but have heard that it's relatively uncrowded and has a lot of water to explore. I believe that you must camp in designated campsites, but I'm not sure about that.
If anyone's been there how about letting us know about it.

Hi Carl,
I noticed your post about the Willow Flowage got no responses, but since I'm familiar with the location and since I'm always on the lookout for another place to paddle, I thought I'd revive it.

I too am interested in the Willow Flowage as a paddling spot.  I'd be curious to know how it compares to it's bigger brother to the north, the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage near Mercer.

Well .... Great minds must think alike.  :-)  I, too, have been thinking about this place but not been there.  I have a couple link that you guys might be interested in:
