While I didn't make it to the Q this year :(, I did get over to Killarney Provincial Park for a few days. The Park is very nice, and it would be a great place to go if you'd like to combine some canoeing and hiking.

The fishing was so-so. Trolling a Rapala was by far the most successful tactic. I only fished Bell Lake, as that was where we stayed while we were there. From there we launched day trips via canoe and foot.

Overall, while it's not quite as rustic or remote as the Q, I would recommend a trip to Killarney.
