It's probably no worse than a hot dog. (FWIW - I like 'em but more than one hot dog will literally make my head spin. Not in a good way either.) Fried SPAM is actually pretty good IMO. We used to bring it in case the fishing sucked. Even when people knew what they were eating some even requested it on future trips. One vegetarian turned it down on principle as being 'red meat'...

Unfortunately, it probably doesn't come in individual serving sizes. I'd take it if it did.
