Another good "no cook" lunch is Summer sausage. Never spoils. Comes in various sizes. Can put it on crackers, with cheese, or whatever. Lots of energy, very compact and very filling.

Also recommend the Lipton instant peach tea. It's sweet (if you like it that way), but a very refreshing drink of high quality.  Ditto on Crystal light. BUT.....Be sure to try the various flavors. Some of them will pucker you up all the way to Winter!

The Oberto beef jerkey is really good, but awfully pricey. No doubt the best around, as it is very moist and tasty. But at $1.00 per ounce, I'm such a tightwad I can't enjoy it more than once or twice per trip!!!!

The new pre-cooked (non-refrigerated) ground beef (Walmart) opens up the possibility of biscuits and gravy for breakfast.  Makes me hungry just thinkin' about it. Now where's my reflector oven?

The cooked non-refrig beef also opens new horizons on dehydrated soups. Have several vegey and rice soups that will become much more satisfying with some spicy meat included.
