How long can a chocolate bar last? If it's only men around it'll last for years (like Bullfrog said.) If any women are around, about 13 milliseconds.  (The women in this house can find chocolate as fast as a pig finds truffles.) The only candy we bring is for the diabetic...lifesavers, of course!

Seriously, the big issue with chocolate is melting.  If you can keep it from melting send me your secret (winter camping does not count.)  As far as how long it lasts, a lot longer than any permit will.
